Electrical Design Expert

We are seeking an Electrical Design Expert to develop and deliver electrical designs for complex automated equipment.

  • This role involves creating detailed electrical schematics, sourcing components, and providing guidance to build teams.
  • The successful candidate will also assist in debugging systems, create test plans and documentation packs, and liaise with customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop electrical designs for complex automation projects
  2. Detailed schematic creation for build purposes
  3. Sourcing of electrical components
  4. Test planning and documentation
  5. Debugging of electrical systems
  6. Liaison with customers and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical/electronic engineering with a focus on manufacturing
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical design, industrial wiring, and debugging of manufacturing equipment
  • Familiarity with machine elements including electrical controls, motors, inverters, panel equipment, drives, and pneumatics
  • Proficiency in software packages (Eplan, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office)
  • Basic knowledge of PLC programming and control methodologies
  • Strong team collaboration skills
