We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Operations Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our entire resort.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage housekeeping department activities, including cleaning all rooms and public areas.
- Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Ensure supervisory staff complete walk-throughs in your absence.
- Perform spot checks and report maintenance issues to the relevant department.
- Train new housekeeping staff to required standards.
- Coach employees to meet required standards.
- Maintain sufficient staffing levels to meet business demands.
- Assist housekeeping staff as needed.
- Liaise with duty managers regarding requests or issues.
- Document necessary information in handovers and prepare assignment sheets.
- Prioritize and organize work assignments, delegate tasks, and check progress.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a 3 or 4-star hotel.
- Working knowledge of hotel software is an advantage.
- A valid work permit for at least 12 months.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and good communication skills.
- Good leadership and organizational skills, with a passion for customer service.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including late nights, early mornings, and weekends.
