About the Job

This is a unique opportunity to join Family Carers Ireland as a Research Officer for our Caring Employers Programme. The programme aims to support family carers who juggle paid employment outside the home alongside a family caring role in the home.

The successful candidate will possess excellent research skills and experience of working with stakeholders to identify and address their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a research strategy to support the Caring Employers project
  • Collaborate with team members to provide practical supports for employees who are family carers
  • Analyse data and create reports to inform business decisions

Requirements

  • A degree in Research or a related field is desirable
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a professional environment with a strong understanding of research methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with digital media techniques and virtual technologies
