Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to develop technical solutions for automated equipment.
  2. Collaborate with equipment suppliers to ensure seamless delivery, integration, and validation of systems.
  3. Maintain validated PLC automation systems in accordance with site change control procedures.
  4. Ensure compliance with computer systems validation (CSV) requirements and maintain validated states.
  5. Provide operational support for Fill Finish and Biologics Technical Development activities.
  6. Work cross-functionally with Operations, IT, Quality Systems (QS), and Quality Assurance (QA) to validate software systems, ensuring compliance with lifecycle management and maintenance standards.
  7. Define automation requirements and implement solutions to support new product introductions and capacity expansions.
  8. Support disaster recovery and backup processes to minimize business disruption during system failures.
  9. Deliver core automation and technical support, including off-hours, remote, or onsite coverage, and provide training in basic troubleshooting for operations and engineering staff.
  10. Oversee and manage automation vendors during equipment troubleshooting, upgrades, and improvement initiatives.
