We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to oversee the implementation of EHS policies and procedures for a road project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain compliance with local and national health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and implementation of safety measures.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance, driving continuous improvement in safety practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field is required.
  • Prior experience in a Health and Safety role, particularly within the construction or civil engineering sector, is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations in Ireland is necessary.
