Key Infrastructure Project Manager Role

This is a captivating opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the delivery of transformative transport infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will support the management of key infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and high-quality deliverables.

  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Project Development: Assist in the development of strategic project plans, ensuring that infrastructure projects are managed efficiently and effectively.

  • Compliance and Governance: Uphold responsibilities related to safety compliance, conduct regular project audits, and ensure all designs and works meet statutory health and safety requirements.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team to achieve objectives, assign priorities, and provide necessary support for staff to execute their roles.

  • Contract and Risk Management: Implement and monitor project control mechanisms, manage risks, and ensure safety assurance processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Financial Oversight: Plan, monitor, and report on project finances, manage budgets, and ensure expenditures are properly authorized.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Building, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
  • Membership of Engineers Ireland or a relevant professional body.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project engineering, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills across large-scale projects requiring coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Relevant general management and project management experience.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage similar projects of scale and complexity.
  • A full driving licence.
