Wind Turbine Service Technician Job Description

As a Wind Turbine Service Technician, you'll have the opportunity to work on various turbine brands and enjoy a flexible working environment. You'll be responsible for:

  • Acting safely and responsibly at all times.
  • Service, maintain and repair wind turbines and ancillary components.
  • Completing reports accurately and on time.
  • Conducting inventory checks and ensuring necessary materials are on site.
  • Executing other tasks as requested by your Operations Manager.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A qualification as an electrician or electrical-mechanical technician.
  • A full clean EU driving license.
  • Comfort working at heights and a willingness to work outdoors.
  • Previous experience in servicing, fault finding, and repairing wind turbine generators.
  • Preferably, troubleshooting experience with Enercon and/or Vestas turbines.
  • A good understanding of safe systems of work and compliance with Wind Turbine Safety Rules.
