The Radiation Therapist Team Lead role at UPMC Ireland is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced clinical professional to take on a leadership position within our Radiation Oncology Department. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of radiation therapy services, managing the daily operations of the therapy team, and ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered in accordance with international standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery of radiation therapy services, including managing treatment plans and protocols.
  • Supervise and manage a team of radiation therapists, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their job responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to standardize quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with medical directors and physicists to ensure that all radiation therapy services are delivered safely and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a radiation therapist, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • CORU registration as a radiation therapist.
