We are seeking an experienced Electrical Utilities Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all utilities equipment is available and functioning correctly at all times.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working with industrial utilities systems. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our critical utilities systems, including pumps, HVAC systems, compressors, boilers, and steam systems. You will also be expected to participate in preventive maintenance activities, identify and troubleshoot problems, and provide training and support to other team members.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management, and to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain critical utilities systems, including pumps, HVAC systems, compressors, boilers, and steam systems.
- Participate in preventive maintenance activities, including routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Identify and troubleshoot problems with utilities equipment and systems.
- Provide training and support to other team members.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial utilities systems, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
- Strong background in electrical engineering, including knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, and control systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Work Order system environment.
- Computer literate.
