Electrical Protection Specialist

We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing protection solutions for various projects at different voltage levels. This role requires collaboration with our team to deliver high-quality services, including specification, tender evaluation, design, and testing of protection and control devices.

  • Develop multifunctional application device configurations and standard protection and control schematic designs for distribution protection IEDs.
  • Modify protection IED logic with user-defined programmable logic to achieve specified application performance.
  • Create acceptance test plans and procedures for distribution protection IEDs.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least five years' experience in creating detailed designs in substation secondary systems or protection and/or control application engineering.
  • Experience in developing protection IED specifications and evaluating tender submissions.
  • A Level 8 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
