Senior Audit Manager

Job Responsibilities:
  • Act as a member of the IT audit team working on a range of audits, inspections, control, risk, and compliance reviews for regulators and financial service providers.
  • Manage audit or inspection fieldwork, ensuring all aspects of the process are satisfactorily completed.
  • Liaise with audit staff and client management to guarantee seamless collaboration.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive audit work programs and test plans.
  • Contribute to drafting high-quality audit reports including detailed findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Oversee deliverables and expectations, reviewing the quality of fieldwork and deliverables prepared by more junior team members to ensure they meet client standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • IT, systems, business, or similar graduate degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of IT auditing experience in a professional services firm, financial services firm, or regulator.
  • Previous IT audit or risk management experience in the financial services sector, including banking or insurance, would be beneficial.
  • Proven expertise in auditing cyber security, PSD2, AML, to EBA guidelines or similar.
  • Knowledge of financial services regulatory standards, e.g., EBA and CBI.
  • A registered IT audit qualification - CISA, CISM, or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of technology (applications, infrastructure, best practice, controls).
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong technical background.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Strong oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
