Apprentice Motor Technician

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Motor Technician to join our team in a state-of-the-art workshop in Athlone. As an experienced 3rd/4th phase technician, you will work in a dynamic environment alongside a leading motor retailer with a franchise portfolio including Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Kodia, Cupra, and Smart.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced workshop setting. They will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards, while also contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our workshop processes and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of vehicle systems, components, and technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 3rd/4th phase apprentice or equivalent experience in a motor trade environment.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
