Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of routine daily activities, including system design, build, testing, validation, maintenance, and ongoing support of all network infrastructure components.
Main Responsibilities
- Implement enhanced network technology aligned to customers' strategic direction for enterprise and remote site connectivity.
- Follow global network infrastructure standards, including wireless, LAN and SD-WAN networks and connectivity.
- Support the installation, testing, and setup of new network hardware, both physical and virtual (firewalls, routers, switching, monitoring) hardware and software.
- Execute engineering efforts to ensure currency and supportability of networking technology.
- Collate data, reports, and information supporting technology lifecycle planning, including contributing to the development of technology roadmaps and Network Health Assessments.
- Organise material and data for documentation, knowledge transfer, and training to successfully land new solutions into the support organisation.
- Undertake activities that contribute to the implementation of core and cloud infrastructure security to manage risks and exposure.
- Support the implementation of ways to improve working processes within Network Engineering.
