As a Medical Device Development Specialist with Pale Blue Dot Recruitment, you will be responsible for transforming design concepts into physical prototypes using benchtop tools and manufacturing techniques. Your expertise in 3D printing, vacuum forming, heat sealing, soldering, and sewing will be essential in creating innovative products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA) principles, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years of medical device production experience or a degree in Design, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field. Proficiency in reading and interpreting 2D component drawings, taking accurate measurements, and working with Microsoft Office Suite is also required.
