Job Opportunity: Lead Automation Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Lead Automation Engineer with expertise in Emerson DeltaV.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work with cutting-edge automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with vendors of automation equipment to ensure deliverables meet project requirements, including interfacing new equipment with existing site systems.
- Work closely with the Development and Configuration teams to ensure their requirements are met in all deliverables.
- Manage project schedules and document trackers to control project deliverables.
- Participate in automation meetings and support relevant program initiatives.
- Liaise with stakeholders on the overall project to ensure clear communication between all parties.
- Ensure compliance with global policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as regulatory requirements and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong experience in Emerson DeltaV, including core system implementation, base layer, batch layer.
- Familiarity with Siemens PLC/SCADA, OSISoft PI, Werum Pas-X, ABB DCS, or other DCS systems would be advantageous.
- Previous experience of API or OSD manufacturing will be beneficial.
- Experience of high containment manufacturing will be advantageous.
