Leadership Role: Category Expert

Aptiv is seeking a seasoned professional to drive effective sourcing strategies and deliver innovative solutions. As a key member of the Indirect Sourcing team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for Aptiv.

About the Job
  • Sourcing Event Management: Manage complex sourcing events, commercial negotiations, and contract administration to ensure compliance and risk management.
  • Category Analysis: Perform market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and avoidance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and track key performance indicators to measure engagement success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage RFx events, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and recommendations.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators for all engagements.
  • Evaluate category spend regularly to identify opportunities for cost savings and avoidance.
  • Analyze data to prepare reports and documentation to support initiative tracking.
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement of indirect services.
  • Experience in managing sourcing projects across different markets.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
