Clinical Laboratory Director

Our organization seeks a seasoned Medical Director to lead our Clinical Laboratory team. This esteemed position requires an exceptional individual with a strong medical background and extensive experience in high-complexity clinical laboratory settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical Oversight: Provide authoritative guidance on laboratory testing, ensuring accurate and medically appropriate results and diagnoses.
- Laboratory Management: Oversee the laboratory's clinical activities to guarantee patient safety and proper diagnostic procedures.
- Clinical Consultation: Interpret test results, provide expert consultation, and collaborate with healthcare providers on test selections, result interpretations, and treatment plans.
- Accreditation: Maintain laboratory accreditation by adhering to relevant guidelines and policies.
- Medical Degree: MD or DO degree with a valid and unrestricted U.S. medical license.
- Board Certification: Board-certified in Pathology, Clinical Pathology, or another relevant specialty.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-complexity clinical laboratory, with at least 2 years in a medical director role.
