Graduate Program AssociateS&P Global is a leading provider of independent credit risk research and benchmarks. As a Graduate Program Associate, you will be part of a team that produces high-quality fundamental research based on established criteria.
The CREDit Graduate Program is a two-year training and development opportunity with our next intake joining us in the near future. CREDit Program Associates are hired for a specific practice, however they are expected to transition between practices as dictated by business demands. In their first year CREDit associates focus on acquiring skills and knowledge from their home practice. In their second year CREDit associates gain exposure to other practices through a mix of classroom training and small projects or short-term secondments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit and cashflow analysis to determine default and recovery probabilities for structured products.
- Support colleagues in assessing operational risk, counterparty risk, and legal risks to gain a broad understanding of the entire process behind assigning a Structured Finance rating.
- Provide timely and precise financial statistics and data analysis, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of analysis and recommendations by senior team members to credit committees.
- Work closely with colleagues to provide research and analysis for the Structured Finance team.
- Transition between practices based on business need during the program and post-program.
