Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Category Leader to drive strategic software sourcing and procurement for our global team.

This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the procurement of enterprise and engineering software licenses.
  • Negotiate complex software agreements while ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.
  • Support the global category manager for software in executing the sourcing category strategy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure timely renewals of software agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional organizations to deliver strategic sourcing requirements.
  • Monitor internal customers and supply markets for changes impacting the sourcing strategy.
  • Track financial performance of the Software category versus prior year and baseline basis.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply and risk management.
Key Requirements
  • Strong commercial acumen for effective cost management.
  • Expert negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of End User Licence Agreements and SaaS agreements.
  • Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills for working with partners across the contract life cycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
  • Expert knowledge of best sourcing practices and methodologies used for this category of IT supplier/partner.
  • Project Management experience in complex multi-project and multi-geography environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly driven and motivated individual.
