Job Title: Residence Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residence Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to positively influence and shape the lives of others.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, mentoring and guiding the team to ensure that the student space is running smoothly. You will take full responsibility for the budget and financial performance of the student space, managing costs and maximizing profit for the property.

You will also be responsible for handling complaints and offering excellent customer service to students, as well as maintaining and developing relationships with key players at local universities and internal and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Use your upbeat personality to lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional results.
- Manage the budget and financial performance of the student space, identifying areas for cost reduction and improving profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy rates and revenue growth.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.

Requirements:

- Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or student accommodation sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain quality relationships.
- Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a strong focus on sales and marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:

- A qualification in a relevant field, such as hospitality or business management.
- Experience with carbon literacy and sustainability initiatives.
