R&D Technician Job Description

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development, optimization, and qualification of technologies, test methods, materials, processes, and products.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct material and product testing in a methodical and accurate way to capture results according to Good Manufacturing Practice.
  • Lead the planning and building of trial products, sourcing materials, inspection, labeling, shipping, and storage as directed.
  • Develop prototypes for concept development and innovation or improvement.
  • Analyze and evaluate new testing methodologies, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Offer technical assistance to various teams, executing tasks, developing ideas, and solving problems.
  • Collaborate in Test Method development and qualification.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment setup and ensure smooth operation, including calibration and participation in Lab and office 5S initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Level 7 qualification in a technical or scientific field is mandatory.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or packaging industries is desired.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
  • Solid communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly motivated team player.
