Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Counter Representative to join our sales team in Croke Park, Dublin. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for responding to sales enquiries, providing advice and quotations, and ensuring maximum sales and margin.
The ideal candidate will have excellent product knowledge, electrical wholesale experience, and strong communication skills. They must also be able to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
This is a full-time, permanent position that offers opportunities for growth and development. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, benefits package, and comprehensive training.
Responsibilities- Respond to sales enquiries via phone or counter
- Provide advice, information, quotations, and ensure maximum sales and margin
- Offer alternative products, up-sell, promote own brands, and cross-brand sales
- Stay updated with product knowledge and branch costs and targets
- Take orders and prepare them for dispatch
- Purchase materials from the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system within the branch
- Excellent product knowledge
- Electrical wholesale experience an advantage
- Customer-focused and results-driven
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to demonstrate good organizational and time management skills
- Team player with well-developed interpersonal skills
- Have good attention to detail, be very organized, and a multitasker
