Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing precise setting out and surveying for construction activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications and drawings.
- Collaborate closely with the Site Manager and Senior Engineer to guarantee all technical aspects of the project are delivered to the highest standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including daily site reports and quality assurance documentation.
- Monitor progress on-site, promptly resolving technical issues to prevent delays.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless site operations.
- Implement strict Health and Safety protocols, fostering a culture of safety on-site.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with building regulations and project requirements.
Requirements:
- 1+ years experience in a Surveying and Alignment Engineer role
- Proficient in the use of total stations, GPS, and other surveying equipment
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant engineering qualification (degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field)
