Job Title: Pipe Fabricator

We are seeking skilled professionals to fabricate a range of pipe arrangements to support our team of welders across various sites on day shifts.

About the Role:

  • To operate MIG, TIG or MMA welding equipment and read/interpret drawings.
  • Fabricate pipe sets for different diameters from shop drawings.
  • Utilize metal cutting and grinding equipment to achieve precise results.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Evaluate the condition of machines and tooling regularly.
  • Ensure a safe working environment through vigilant monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Fabricator or Welder, preferably with pipe fabrication.
  • Able to interpret welding procedure requirements effectively.
  • Proficient in using shop floor hand tools like Grinders, Hand Plasmas etc.
  • Confident in understanding shop fabrication and assembly drawings.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a pipe fabricator producing diverse pipe arrangements using TIG/MAG and MMA.
  • Familiarity with heavy fabrication, architectural steelwork or stainless steel/carbon welding environments.
