  • Work closely with scrum teams to remove obstacles and prioritize delivery of high-quality code.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance code quality and delivery speed.
  • Foster open communication within the team, ensuring everyone's voice is heard.
  • Review CVs, schedule and conduct interviews, and collaborate with HR to expand the team.
  • Implement the development process delivery guidelines from the business.
  • Assist in allocating resources to each delivery team.
  • Regularly meet with the Head of Software Development to align developer strategies and share best practices across the organization.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience managing software teams in fast-paced commercial environments.
  • 10+ years of experience working in software teams.
  • Proficiency in software development (Java/.Net/JavaScript) and associated technologies.
  • A keen interest in emerging technologies and the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest software industry developments.
  • A proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to design end-to-end solutions for web-based applications, develop robust high-volume production applications, and create prototypes quickly.
  • A strong understanding of and experience in building high-performing enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with software release management techniques, including continuous integration and delivery (DevOps).
  • Experience in leading agile or rapid development environments.
  • Proficiency in developing high-quality, testable, and performant software using agile practices.
  • Able to mentor staff and assist in their professional development.
