The role of HGV Rigid Driver is a vital part of our operations team.

Job Description

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of timber products throughout Ireland. They will ensure all loads are transported in a secure manner and complete daily workarounds to maintain the optimal upkeep of their assigned vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering and collecting timber pallets and other timber products
  • Ensuring all paperwork is thoroughly completed and up-to-date
  • Assisting with route planning and ensuring compliance
  • Reporting any issues with the truck or trailers
  • Working alongside the logistics team to ensure smooth fleet operations
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Full Clean Valid Driving Licence
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Driver Qualification Card & up-to-date CPC Modules
  • Fluent English (Verbal & Written)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude
  • Good team player with strong customer service skills
