- Conduct psychological assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions for individuals with complex emotional, behavioral, and mental health difficulties.">
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and best practices.">
- Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including social workers, occupational therapists, and healthcare professionals.">
- Offer consultation, advice, and guidance to patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.">
- Engage in case formulation, therapeutic planning, and goal setting.">
- Participate in MDT team meetings, clinical supervision, and continuous professional development activities.">
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards set out by the Psychological Society of Ireland and other relevant professional bodies.">
**Eligibility Criteria:**
">To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold a Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology and/or be a Chartered Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist through the Psychological Society of Ireland.
">Candidates qualified overseas must provide evidence of validation by the Department of Health at the time of application.
">Additionally, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria outlined below:

- Eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland.">
- Demonstrable knowledge of a range of psychological assessment and therapeutic models.">
- Clinical assessment skills working with children, adolescents, and adults in primary care or other related clinical settings.">
- Experience working with children and adults with developmental and psychological issues (e.g. autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression).">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.">
- Full driver's license and access to a car.">
