AML Specialist

As a dedicated Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing Terrorism (CFT) specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of client and investor records. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all data is well organized, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with politically exposed persons (PEP). Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and treating alerts generated by our automatic screening tool on a weekly basis.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring continuous compliance with know-your-client (KYC) requirements and Luxembourg regulatory framework
• Setting up client and investor profiles in our electronic database and uploading relevant documents
• Assisting client-facing teams in dealing with external parties and collecting necessary information
• Performing regular follow-ups with client-facing teams regarding submitted requests
• Responding to requests from client-facing teams to perform drawdowns and distributions

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor or Master's degree in Law, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in an AML role within the financial services sector
• A general understanding of AML requirements in Luxembourg
• Knowledge of Luxembourg fund structures
• An analytical approach with strong research skills
• A team-player attitude and excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Fluency in English; French or German is an asset
