As a Production Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production environment. This involves providing management for systems used by Front Office, Operations, and Client teams, as well as overseeing the technology batch environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide management for systems used by Front Office, Operations, and Client teams
  • Oversee the technology batch environment
  • Ownership and accountability for the operation, monitoring, and integrity of the technology platform, including complex data import processes from multiple external vendors
  • Availability to be on-call for failure escalations including evenings and weekends on a rotation basis
  • Participation in incident and problem management processes, being accountable for resolution, root cause analysis, and reporting
  • Responsibility for the reliability and resiliency of the production environment following established processes
  • Relationship management with internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working in a technology role, preferably in software development and/or application support
  • A hunger for continuous learning, seeking opportunities to improve upon the status quo
  • Strong communication skills and an enthusiastic team player
  • Strong research, analytical, investigation, and troubleshooting skills
  • A tenacious sense of ownership and a desire to bring incidents to resolution quickly
  • Experience with writing database queries using SQL and navigating commands in the Linux operating system
  • Experience with scheduling tools and excellent documentation skills

  • Experience working in cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Software development skills to perform code changes for bug fixes or automation tasks
