Salary and Benefits

The employment type is permanent, offering a competitive salary dependent on experience. The role requires flexibility due to a rotating late-night shift one week and Saturday work from 8am to 1pm.

Job Description

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service by greeting them in a courteous manner and interpreting their needs.
  • Generate, amend, and update service schedules, sending timely reminders to ensure seamless customer interactions.
  • Manage vehicle and customer databases, making it easy to access vital information when needed.
  • Coordinate appointments for PSV services, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting customer expectations.
  • Create maintenance contract quotes and sell these contracts to customers, further solidifying relationships.
  • Process and close out workshop job cards while assisting with invoicing, maintaining accurate records and prompt communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of GCSE standard or equivalent education, including English and Mathematics.
  • Strong administrative skills, with excellent organisational abilities to adapt to changing situations.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels, both verbally and written, internally and externally.
  • Ability to structure workload efficiently, prioritising tasks for optimal performance.
  • Possession of a full clean driving licence.

Desired Criteria

While not essential, relevant service reception experience or working within a franchised car/heavy vehicle dealership would be advantageous. Some existing mechanical knowledge is also desirable, but not necessary. Key skills include vehicle repair, customer service, and effective communication.
