Senior Software Engineer Job Description

Overview of the Position:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned software engineer to join our team in Dublin. We are establishing a new technology facility that will play a critical role in our digital transformation and serve as a center of excellence for our global Product and Technology organization.

The Dublin-based team will consist of professionals with expertise in software development, automotive technology, engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. They will be responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for our streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative enhancements and new features for existing Pandora and SiriusXM applications
  • Facilitate the troubleshooting of pre- and post-production issues
  • Participate in code-reviews as part of a much larger team

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in collaborating via code reviews and technical discussions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor other engineers
  • Growth mindset and ability to learn quickly
  • 6+ years of experience developing Client Software for iOS based platforms
