Job Description

Audit Role in Dublin Office

This role will be based in our Audit department in our Dublin office and will report into our senior audit leadership team. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Completing audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, either remotely or on-site at client premises.
  • Assisting in planning and completing audit assignments, ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation.
  • Preparing statutory financial statements from client data and highlighting high-level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager.
  • Planning the execution and finalisation of the audit assignments for Partner/Manager review.
  • Delivering the highest quality auditing services to our clients.
  • Collaborating as part of a team to plan engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk.
  • Developing and maintaining proactive working relationships with your audit clients, ensuring they are informed and always satisfied, not just during the audit process but throughout the year.
  • Researching and solving technical queries from clients.
  • Assisting in the preparation and reviews of financial statements in full compliance with Irish GAAP.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Started and are on track to achieve ACA or ACCA qualifications.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience working in practice.
  • A passion to provide the very best client experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and technical skills.
  • Knowledge of business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • An effective and motivated team player.
  • A self-starter who can critically analyze and assess information.
