DescriptionWe have an opening for a contract career coach based in Ireland to support our Relocation and Outplacement solutions. We support employees who have been made redundant by their organizations. Our coaches assist them with job search strategies to help them find new employment/career opportunities after a reduction in the workforce.
The Coach works in a 1:1 capacity with Relocation participants as well as Outplacement/displaced employees of our client companies by using IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology. This is a part-time, contract, and working from home/remote position, approximately 30-40 hours per month.
Responsibilities:- Establish a positive rapport with program participants and motivate them to achieve their career goals.
- Guide participants through the coaching process and help them complete milestones.
- Advise and coach participants on career development, transition, and integration issues.
- Provide coaching on resume writing, effective marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiating.
- Maintain accurate electronic service delivery records for each employee serviced.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience coaching others in job search, including resume/CV development, interview preparation, career exploration, LinkedIn profiles, and other aspects of job search coaching.
- Experience working with job seekers in Ireland, with a deep understanding of business and cultural practices within the country.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to analyze and address transitional needs.
- Able to build strong relationships with participants/clients and engage them in the coaching process.
- Currently lives and/or works in Ireland, with expat or repat experience a plus.
- High-speed internet connection and headset with microphone required for remote work.
- A Master's degree in a discipline involving the study of human behavior, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Cross-cultural experience is a plus, along with strong skills in facilitation, business coaching, career coaching, and integration coaching.
- A coaching certificate or training is desirable.
- Familiarity with Zoom and MS Teams, good internet speed using own equipment for virtual coaching, is essential.
