**Job Overview**

At Global Professional Consultants, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading electrical system designs for Data Centres, Industrial, Commercial, and Pharma projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop feasibility studies, outline designs, and detailed electrical designs
  • Produce design drawings, electrical plant selection, and specifications
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for electrical systems
  • Liaise with other disciplines and clients to ensure alignment with project goals
  • Manage power supply upgrades in collaboration with utility companies

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in electrical design, including team leadership
  • Chartership or in progress is a distinct advantage
  • Proficient in electrical design software (Dialux, Amtech, Etap, Eracs, Cdegs)
  • Strong knowledge of LV, MV, and HV design in data centres and building services
