Renewable Energy Asset Support Specialist

This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of new projects from an operational and service perspective, collaborating with internal teams and contractors.

The successful candidate will lead tender documentation development and review to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with project objectives.

  • Evaluate and compare tender submissions, providing clear recommendations based on technical, commercial, and contractual considerations.
  • Negotiate service contracts to secure optimal value while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for contractual queries, offering expert guidance to colleagues.
  • Support project-level asset management activities, contributing experience and insight to ensure operational readiness and excellence.
Requirements
  • Relevant third-level qualification in engineering, data science, or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, ideally in an operational or contracting role.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail and high integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Flexibility to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to apply technical insights to support sound decision-making.
  • Valid driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:

The Renewable Energy Asset Support Specialist will be responsible for leading tender documentation development and review, evaluating and comparing tender submissions, negotiating service contracts, acting as a senior point of contact for contractual queries, and supporting project-level asset management activities.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant third-level qualification in engineering, data science, or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience. Extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, ideally in an operational or contracting role, is also required. Additionally, the candidate should have strong organisational and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail and high integrity and professionalism.
