We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Worker to join our team in Kilcullen, Co. Kildare. As a Social Care Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Social Care Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide person-centred support to individuals in their daily lives. This may include assisting with personal care, managing daily routines, and promoting independence and social inclusion. You will work closely with a dynamic and supportive team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum Level 7 QQI qualification in Social Care Studies (or equivalent in Health/Social Care) and at least one year's experience supporting vulnerable adults or individuals with intellectual disabilities. You should also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to contribute to and evolve personalized care plans. Additionally, you will require a full, clean manual driver's license and access to your own car.
