Supply Network Strategist

Overview

This role is pivotal in the strategic development of supply network planning for Surgical Vision products. It involves ensuring timely delivery of product to customers while driving excellence in supply chain optimization.

Responsibilities

  1. Optimize and propagate net requirements throughout the value stream, and manage constrained plans across multiple supply chain nodes.
  2. Develop regional deployment strategies that facilitate efficient distribution across multiple locations.
  3. Resolve multi-site constraints by analyzing and balancing demand and supply.
  4. Review and analyze distribution forecasts, manage inventory transfers, and coordinate movement between supply chain nodes.
  5. Integrate and verify supply chain optimization data, forecasts, and transactional information.
  6. Handle deployment order exceptions—review, approve, modify, or reject as needed.
  7. Communicate business impacts of planning and allocation trade-offs, facilitate scenario planning, and escalate issues through established processes.
  8. Facilitate clear communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams and with leadership to ensure plan alignment.
  9. Participate actively in global supply chain initiatives to drive consensus and facilitate information flow.

Qualifications/Requirements

  1. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, data analytics, or related field is required.
  2. At least 4 years of experience in planning and supply chain management, including materials planning and/or procurement.
  3. Experience in medical/pharmaceutical industries preferred.
  4. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/APO) and advanced planning systems (e.g., OMP) is beneficial.
  5. High accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  6. Ability to translate complex business scenarios into practical solutions is necessary.
  7. Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  8. Green Belt Six Sigma Certification & Supply Chain Certification desirable.
  9. English proficiency is mandatory.
