Job Description:

This is a high-profile role for a seasoned Cloud Security Architect to join Alldus International Consulting Ltd in Dublin on a 12-month day rate contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security architecture within large-scale enterprise ICT projects and be an expert in cloud security, network security, IAM, and endpoint security.


Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will design and review security architecture for enterprise ICT projects, ensuring robust cloud and hybrid security measures. Key responsibilities include developing and enforcing security standards, policies, and frameworks in alignment with ISO27001, NIST CSF, and CIS, as well as implementing and overseeing security measures for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.

Additional responsibilities include conducting security architecture reviews and assessing vendor solutions to meet compliance and security requirements, performing security risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with GDPR, PCI, and NIS2 regulations.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for advocating and implementing DevSecOps practices to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and working closely with IT, security, legal, and executive teams to drive a unified security strategy.


Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have extensive experience in security architecture within large-scale enterprise ICT projects and possess expertise in cloud security, network security, IAM, and endpoint security.

Candidates should also have strong knowledge of industry frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) and experience conducting risk assessments and security governance reviews.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of secure coding practices and DevSecOps methodologies, as well as leadership in managing cybersecurity architecture and collaborating with stakeholders.

Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or cloud-specific certifications (AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
