Senior Technical Transfer Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Scientific Operations Professional to join our Cork, Ireland team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure excellence in technology transfer and related activities.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to achieve performance goals within the Vaccine Technology Transfer group.
  • Oversee the technical transfer and scale-up of new processes into Vaccines IPT.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decisions for the Vaccines IPT, ensuring supply of high-quality products through tactical planning and execution of production schedules.
  • Review and approve Change Control, Quality Notification, deviation, and investigation records as required.
  • Recommend technical approaches aligned with global and local standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies in vaccine and biopharmaceutical processing fields.
  • Implement process improvements through innovation and utilization of technological advances.
  • Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement by deploying MPS within the IPT on projects such as problem solving, reducing cycle time, and Lean principles within new processes.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with multiple decision-makers, corporate colleagues, and cross-functional teams by maintaining trust relationships at all levels.
Requirements:
  • Experience in biopharmaceutical/vaccines environment.
  • Degree or Master's in Science or Engineering discipline (preferably Biotechnology).
  • Prior experience in Lean Six Sigma qualification or application of Lean principles.
  • Project management qualification, such as Project Management Professional, is desirable.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
