Healthcare Assistant Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Healthcare Assistant at our facility.

This position involves performing patient observations and maintaining infection control policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Observe and monitor patients' health status, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Manage stock levels of linen, treatment room supplies, solutions, and office stationery as required by the ward manager or deputy.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sterility of bedside equipment and prepare the bed and patient environment for post-operative patients.
  • Accompany patients to other departments and assist with various tasks as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Possess a relevant FETAC Level 5 qualification.
  • Hold at least 1 year's experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills.
