Job Title: Production Shift Manager

The role of the Production Shift Manager is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient production process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote compliance with Health & Safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage throughput, labor efficiency, and quality metrics to optimize production output.
  • Implement lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Develop positive employee relations and team versatility to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain GMP and quality system requirements to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of manufacturing experience with a strong background in production management.
  • Excellent systems knowledge and analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Working knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and production processes to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational challenges.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing resources, and reporting on progress. Achieving productivity, efficiency, quality, and EHS targets is paramount. Key responsibilities include managing daily team rota, resources, work orders, and materials. Close production work orders in online systems, book stock, maintain production logs, and open work orders. Cover breaks and absenteeism on the line, conduct CAPA investigations, and complete reports. Arrange post-pack audits and record keeping. Update packing instructions in NQMS.
