Job Title:

Assistant Director of Nursing, ADON, Limerick

Job Summary:

This is a key leadership position in a nursing home in Adare, Co. Limerick. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality person-centered care to residents.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Director of Nursing will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff.
  • Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring and improving the quality of care provided to residents.
  • Leading by example and promoting a culture of compassion and respect.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A registered nurse qualification on the NMBI live register.
  • A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in a relevant field.
  • A recognized managerial qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).
  • Clinical experience working in older persons care or nursing home care.
  • Fluent English language skills (verbal and written) and eligibility to work in Ireland.
