We are seeking an experienced Cognitive Therapist to join our innovative team in a pioneering neurological rehabilitation and habilitation centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess cognitive strengths and needs of adults living with severe Acquired Brain Injury (sABI).
  • Design and implement individual therapy plans tailored to each client's unique requirements.
  • Deliver one-to-one and group therapy sessions, promoting maximum participation and quality of life.
  • Provide training and guidance to families and care staff on effective support strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care planning.
  • Contribute to clinical reports and records, facilitating seamless communication.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities, enhancing knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Registration with CORU (OT or SLT) or PSI membership (Clinical Psychologist).
  • A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience, preferably in neuro-rehabilitation settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with individuals with complex needs, including those with severe brain injuries and disorders of consciousness.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a commitment to person-centred practice.
  • Experience with cognitive rehabilitation methods and approaches.
