Job Role Overview

The Mechanical Supervisor position is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing and managing on-site mechanical works to ensure all activities meet the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of mechanical tradespeople and subcontractors, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) standards, as well as documenting site-related activities in a comprehensive diary.
  • Attending and chairing internal and external meetings with stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Closely working with the Project Manager (PM) and Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage project variations efficiently.
  • Oversight of labour allocation sheets by subcontractors, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
  • Developing and implementing daily action plans to drive productivity and success.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A degree or certification in construction or mechanical engineering, providing a solid foundation for this role.
  • Substantial experience working in building services roles for M&E contractors, main contractors, or M&E consultancies, demonstrating expertise and adaptability.
  • In-depth knowledge of building services, particularly plumbing and HVAC, allowing for informed decision-making.
  • Proven supervisory and leadership skills, inspiring confidence and trust among team members.
  • Superb communication and organizational abilities, ensuring smooth operations and conflict resolution.
