Job Title

A highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Engineer is required to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects within time, cost and quality constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client interface and technical direction
  • Project management, budgetary control and day-to-day management of junior engineers
  • Relationship management with key clients and contacts across the business
  • Tender submissions, estimating, pricing and delivery against work targets
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in Geotechnical design
  • Chartered status
  • Degree in Civil Engineering and Masters in a Geotechnical related field

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of principles of Geotechnical Engineering and earthworks
  • Ability to understand complex problems and conceive innovative solutions
  • Report writing and presentation skills
  • Effective communication with clients, colleagues and outside agencies
  • Adherence to Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health and Safety Regulations
