About Fund Ratings Role:
">We are seeking a talented professional to join our dynamic team as a Fund Ratings specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Assist with credit research on various funds, closed-end funds, and other investment vehicles.
- Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases to evaluate fund debt structures.
- Participate in diligence meetings with fund management teams to assess their investment acumen, risk management skills, and overall ability to develop and successfully execute strategies.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of fund performance and provide recommendations for rating assignments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage expertise in structured finance, corporate finance, and project finance.
Requirements:
">- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Math-related fields or any subject that results in strong analytical skills.
- Four (4) to Eight (8) years of work experience as a credit analyst with experience in fund lending, investing, or structured finance.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, including cash flow modeling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
