We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our MEP team at John Paul Construction. As a key member, you'll have opportunities to work on high-profile projects across diverse sectors.

This role is based in our Dublin office and involves travel to various projects across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and specify mechanical engineering solutions for buildings, adhering to current regulations and design standards.
  2. Collaborate with the MEP team and project design team to define project requirements and create technical solutions.
  3. Lead pre-construction engineering activities, including coordination of services and production of information.
  4. Oversee project management during construction.
  5. Support M&E staff in all work related to project completion.

Skills Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Experience in designing and specifying mechanical/building services systems.
  4. Strong technical expertise and good understanding of current engineering standards.
  5. Prior Main Contractor experience is preferred.
