Water Treatment Process Operator Job

We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Process Operator to join our team in the Clare Region.

Job Description:

This role involves working in a fully automated water treatment process with a comprehensive control system. As a Water Treatment Process Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the process, completing record sheets, taking process samples, and performing on-site laboratory analysis and process optimization.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the Drinking Water Treatment process and possess a strong background in process control, operation of equipment, and mechanical maintenance. Proficiency in computers is essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Drinking Water Treatment processes
  • Process background, especially in drinking water treatment
  • Mechanical/electrical experience, particularly in SCADA-related programs and instrumentation
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
