Job Summary

This Agricultural Mechanic role involves working with complex mechanical and electrical systems to diagnose and repair issues with customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean work area, performing work in a neat and orderly fashion, and following all safety rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and established Integrated Solutions (IS) products
  • Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
  • Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
  • Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
  • Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
  • Account for all time on a timecard and for all material used in performing assigned duties

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience performing service repairs on agricultural equipment or equivalent
  • Basic Service Technician certification preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Forklift license preferred
