About the Role
">This role requires a highly skilled individual to manage EU-funded research projects, develop and implement project exploitation and dissemination strategies, and represent the company in national and international working groups and networks.
">The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research management, stakeholder management, and project implementation. They will be responsible for managing multiple large-scale research programs concurrently, leading key national and internationally funded research projects in sustainability, and conducting horizon scanning on research opportunities.
">Responsibilities">- Manage multiple large-scale research programs concurrently
- Lead key national and internationally funded research projects in sustainability
- Represent the company in our national and international working groups and networks
- Conduct horizon scanning on research opportunities and engage with existing and emerging research consortia
- Develop and implement project exploitation and dissemination strategies in collaboration with relevant project partners
- Prepare non-scientific elements of funding reports accurately and timely
- Plan and implement project launch and consortia meetings
- Develop external contacts and networks for future collaboration and funding opportunities
- Provide direct project management guidance to project managers and lead project partners
- Be the point of contact for all project operational activity, including partner management/technical teams and external stakeholders
- Conduct operational management of project budgets and assigned resources allocations
- Lead Principal Investigators through account administration and close-out
- Lead relevant meetings associated with the research project or related activities
- Resolve problems affecting research project delivery
- Lead bids for major research projects
- Degree or higher in a relevant discipline
- 5+ years of professional project management experience, with a minimum of 3 years managing large EU projects (e.g., EU framework programme projects such as Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe)
- Certifications or accreditations in project management methodologies, e.g., APMP, PRINCE2, PMP, CSM
- Experience in stakeholder management, including communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Management of delivery and submission of project deliverables/reports
